Quick Start: Maternity Neighborhood Care Guide
Using the Library
Permissions
- To use the Library section successfully, you first need to make sure that your user profile is set to have Librarian privileges. To do that you should open the Practice Level Menu (found to the left of your practice name) using the Account Owner login and choose Settings > Users > [Your Name]. Choose the Edit icon in your profile and add a check-mark next to Librarian.
- Once you are designated as a Librarian, the library section will be much easier to understand. When you visit the Library, you will see new editable options for each resource, in links atop the page when you open the resource. There will also be a green "Add your own content" button in the upper right-hand corner.
Managing Resources
- Using the practice level menu (three bars to the top left of MN) you will see a category called 'Resources'
- Clicking on Resources, will take you to the list of all resources curated from our content partners.
- You can filter, search and if you like email resources direct to clients from here. Although, your clients can also receive resources when messaging clients on their page OR by setting up an auto-send schedule, which we will mention soon.
- At this time, we recommend taking a moment to 'add your own content' using the top-right button to the resources available to Care Providers.
Managing Libraries
- Care Guide is equipped to allow you to create separate libraries that clients qualify for. For example, a prenatal library, a VBAC library, a nutrition library, a gestational diabetes library.
- Using the practice level menu (three bars to the top left of MN), click on 'settings' and manage libraries.
- This will allow you to create separate segmented libraries out of resources present in the master resource list.
- Each library can be set to be 'Visible'- Clients can see it in their resources tab OR 'Autosend'- Clients receive emails at the gestational age you have recommended for each article OR both.
- Once you have created libraries, you are all set, clients will have resources to review in their resource tab or be automatically sent messages based on gestational age.
- When 'Adding a New Client' you or any other care provider will be able to select which libraries a client qualifies for, this can be edited in settings when you want to add other libraries to clients. You can also message client libraries if you discover at some point during their care that they should qualify for more resources.
Care Guide ALSO comes with eConsents! Please review that help document as well.
