Comprehensive Guide to Setting Up Your Practice For The First Time

  1. Log in to the MN portal.
  2. From the upper left-hand side of the screen, select the three horizontal lines that indicate your main menu.
  3. Choose "Settings" from the menu.
  4. Once you're on the Settings menu, you'll go through each section one by one (Practice, Profile, Users, etc.) and enter your information; the below guides will help.
  5. First, select "Practice" and set up your location(s). Once saved, go back to Settings.
  6. Select "Profile" > Edit > enter any missing information (such as phone, NPI) > scroll to the bottom and make yourself a "Librarian" in addition to the selections you've already chosen. Once saved, go back to Settings.
  7. Select "Users" and follow this guide to set up your care provider and staff accounts: Adding Care Providers and Other Users.
  8. For now, skip over Libraries, Library Auto-send, Billing, and Calendar.
  9. Select "Appointment Types." This guide will walk you through setting up appointment types, location hours, and provider hours Scheduler Set-Up.
  10. Once the above critical steps are complete, you can go through the other Settings listed below to decide if you want to use them.
  11. Select "Appointment Notification Note" to create a standard message that will be sent for client appointment notifications.
  12. Select "Billing" and add your fees, if you plan on using our platform to create claims that you can then download and fax to the insurance company. Quick Start: Maternity Neighborhood Billing
  13. If you want to automatically send your pregnant clients helpful articles (or your own content) from the Library Resources, you'll follow these guides: Activating Library Auto-Send, Adding Resources to Care Guide Client Education, Care Guide Libraries: Adding and Assigning Clients to Libraries, Care Guide Libraries : Creating Multiple Libraries with Different Resources
  14. Once all of these steps are complete, you can begin adding clients, scheduling appointments, creating claims, and charting. Adding a Client
